1). Some of my favorite discoveries from EDU 505 have been how to create both a blog and wiki. I never knew how to take part in either of these web 2.0 tools. I know I most definitely will use both of those tools as I become an elementary teacher. Both of those tools will be an excellent way to communicate with both parents and students.
2). This course has affected my lifelong learning as an educator because it has made me come to realize how many fun and exciting things you can do on the web to implement into your teaching. I do know that I have become much more interested in the use of technology in education.
3). EVERYTHING from this course has been a takeaway for me. I have learned so many educational/technological tools to implement into my teaching. I know for sure a classroom blog will be a necessity for me as a teacher.
4). I honestly don't think anything needs to be done differently to improve this course. I loved how there was a summary of the task that needed to be complete in the module. I too like how the professor included samples of his work on that specific module. It was nice to see some firsthand work, and know the expected outcome.
5). I most definitely would participate in another discovery learning program like EDU 505. It is intriguing, and unique to learn all sorts of new technology to incorporate into your classroom, and your teaching. The students love gaining more computer based knowledge and skills.
